Last Year's Calendar Cover featured Woo and Floyd - this year's design to be announced!

The Daily Drool 2005 Basset a Day Desk Calendar - FINALLY!

This is a page a day calendar - similar to the Far Side Desk calendars and other commercial calendars only better - it features your bassets! Only Daily Drool bassets get to go on this calendar and every page is full color. This is printed on high quality semi-gloss paper by a commercial printing company, with a sturdy padded binding and stand up easel. A different Drool basset for every day!

How Much & How Do I Order the Calendar?
Calendar price is $19.50 plus shipping. Due to some problems last year, this year's calendar can be purchased with VISA or MASTERCARD via PAYPAL or CHECKS only.
The Calendar can be purchased with Visa or Mastercard using Paypal here.

Purchase by Mail Order check here.

When will I receive my Calendar?
We need a minimum order of 1000 calendars in order to go to print (so please order lots - they make GREAT gifts!). Providing all orders are accounted for, I plan on having all calendars mailed by the last week in November.

How can I make sure my basset gets a day on the calendar?
THERE ARE NO CALENDAR DATES LEFT...BUT.... If you would like to be put on the waiting list in case someone does not get their photos in on time, send an email to nancy @ dailydrool.com with the subject: WAITING LIST. You will receive a confirmation email in return. Once the confirmation is received, you can send in your photo and order. To check to see if your photo has been received, go to: http://www.dailydrool.com/caldates.html

My basset is already on the Date Page and has been accepted in the calendar - where do I send my photo?
All pictures sent should be accompanied by an SASE and sent to: The Daily Drool • PO Box 93 • Glenville, PA 17329
Please write on the back of your photo:
• Your Name
(this will appear in the side caption*, so include all foodslaves)
• Your Basset's Name
• Your Email Address
• Your Calendar Date
• A short (single line) caption for your photo like 'Wake me for Dinner' or 'Time to Chase the Cat' etc. Try to be original so we don't have 65 captions saying, 'Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary'
;
• If your basset is a rescue basset, please let me know. Rescue bassets will be denoted with a special symbol this year.

(All side captions will say 'loved by 'whatever your name is' ' - this way bassets that have gone to the bridge will have the same side caption as bassets who are still with us.)

Your photos will be returned if you enclosed an SASE.

Can I use any basset photo?
Photos must be of basset hounds only (not people or wannabes) and be a good quality COLOR photo (no slides). If your photo looks out of focus, it will also be out of focus when it's printed. Please choose clear photos with good color and contrast. Photo can be horizontal or vertical format and any size. IT can be mat or glossy. Inkjet printed photos even on photo paper are not encouraged. You may send them, but if I think they are too grainy to use, I'll have to send them back for you to try again.

Can I use a digital photo?
Yes, but they must be high resolution photos (300dpi) and they cannot be emailed. They must be put on a CD or floppy disk and snail mailed to me at the address below. If you are putting them on CD, the CD must be burned so it can be read in any drive. I do all design work on a Mac, so microsoft proprietory CDs won't work.

Is there a deadline when photos need to be in?
I must have your photos here by Sept 19th.
If your photo is not received by Sept 19th, you will forfeit your date and someone else will take the spot. Believe me, I had to do this with some people before who procrastinated and I hated to do it, but we're on a tight schedule with the printer so you all can have these in plenty of time for the howlidays. I must have them in my hands by Sept. 19th.

MAIL PHOTOS (and an SASE for return) TO:
